Barbara was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to explain various options and answer all our questions. After wasting many months trying to work with several other local dealers (including one who still is holding our deposit) we were very fortunate to find Made in the Shade of Wilmington. It took Brian and Barbara less than a month from our initial phone call to get quality, reasonably priced, Custom Made Outdoor Motorized Shades (with Sensors) for our Pergola ordered / delivered and installed! And Brian and Barbara kept us informed at every step; answered every question and concern; throughout the process! Made in the Shade of Wilmington also pays attention to details. They recognized our Pergola was made with a new material requiring special consideration and consulted with the manufactures to make sure the install was done using best practices. Better yet, they even had a factory representative help with the install which was a nice surprise to us. Not any aspect of this project could have gone any better even down to the cleanup (like no one was ever here). I recently worked with Barbara on my new home. She was so helpful, making suggestions and going the extra mile to make sure I would be happy with the final result.
